Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower

World's third tallest tower, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower is located in Pudong Park in Shanghai. It measures 468 meters high, and is only behind the CN Tower in Toronto (553.33m), Canada, and the 533 meter high TV tower in Moscow, Russia.

The Shanghai Bund

The Bund (waitan) is the symbol of Shanghai, and its a must see for all visitors to Shanghai. A wide street curves along the western bank of the Huangpu river, and along the street are old style european and western buildings.

Shanghai Jade Buddha Temple

The Jade Buddha Temple is located in western Shanghai. It was first built in 1882, and during the 1911 revolution to over throw the Qing Dynasty, the temple was destroyed. It was neglected until several years later, when it was rebuilt in the period of 1918 to 1928.
